Professor Zhang Li Attended the Exchange and Sharing Meeting in Logistics and Aviation Fields of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity

During the COVID-19 epidemic, China’s logistics and aviation industry played an extremely important role in delivering anti-epidemic materials. In the post-pandemic period, logistics airlines still face a series of problems of how to help domestic and foreign passenger and freight industry develop well. In order to discuss a series of challenges faced by China-Singapore logistics and aviation industry under the new situation and explore cooperation opportunities, the China-Singapore Project Demonstration Administration and Qijiang District Commerce Committee jointly hosted “the Exchange and Sharing Meeting in Logistics and Aviation Fields of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity” in Qijiang from September 4 to 5, 2020. Professor Zhang Li, deputy director of the Scientific Research Department of our college, Ms. Chen Jingyu and Ms. Lin Lu from the School of Logistics Engineering were invited to attend the meeting.

Professor Zhang Li introduced the challenges and countermeasures of Chongqing-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation under the situation of Sino-US confrontation, and emphasized that Chongqing-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation needs to uphold the development principle of “achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration” to promote the sustained, long-term and stable development of Chongqing-ASEAN bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

The exchanges at this meeting not only has helped to grasp the development trend of international trade and logistics in the new land-sea passage, but also expanded the horizons, and provided references for the future training and teaching course on commerce, logistics, e-commerce, and information technology in our college. It has a good leading role in the future scientific research of young teachers in the logistics discipline of our college, and it is also of positive significance for participating in the project cooperation carried out by the China-Singapore Project Demonstration Administration.
