To fully implement the fundamental task of “Morality Building and Talents Cultivating”, and actively build “Three Love (love career, love students, love posts) and Five High-level (lofty realm, noble ethics, elegant words and deeds, profound knowledge, high ability)” talents team, vigorously promote and commend outstanding examples, and carry forward the noble ethics of teachers, we vividly displayed our teachers’ passion, devotion, and selfless dedication at the accasion of the 36th Teachers’ Dayon September 10th, when our school held a grand ceremony to commend excellent teachers and educators of the 2019-2020 academic year, encouraging the whole school teachers to keep in mind the original intention of serving the country through education, to be brave to bear the mission of moral education, and to strive to create a strong atmosphere of “respecting teachers and valuing education and being a good teacher”. The ceremony was attended by school leaders, faculty and student representatives. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yi, secretary of the Party Committee.
The meeting opened with a solemn national anthem. Then Deputy Secretary Shen Min and Vice President Chen Longguo, vice President Xiao Su and Assistant Li Chunlei read out commendation documents including Decision on Awarding Outstanding Teachers of RongZhi College of CTBU in 2019-2020 Academic Year, Decision on Awarding Loyal Faculty and Staff members working in Rongzhi College over 10 years by 2020, Decision on Awarding Units and Individuals for Their Competitive Performance in 2019-2020 Academic Yearrespectively. The school leaders awarded the certificates of honor to the advanced units and individuals. Huang Zhihao, the representative of student leaders, Luo Yinchen, the representative of excellent teachers, Liu Youpei, the representative of “loyal staff” and other staff shared their opinions on study and work.
At the end of the ceremony, President Wu Hua’an gave a keynote speech on “Creating a bright future for Chongqing Finance and Economics University with ‘Three Loves’”. In his speech, he first extended a warm congratulation to the advanced units and individuals who have been commended, and his heartfelt thanks and holiday greetings to every faculty member who has been working hard in their respective positions. Then he gave his sincere welcome to the new members who have recently joined us in the big family of Rongzhi College. At the same time, He raised three expectations to the faculty and staff. His first expectation is that we should love our school, get united, shoulder our responsibilities, sincerely identify with the school’s philosophy, vision and goal, connect self-development with the development of the school, safeguard the interests of the school, and build a community with a shared future together with the school. His second expectation is for us to love students, that is to say we should continue to be student-oriented, constantly lay a new pattern of work with a high sense of mission and responsibility, cherish the life stage provided by students, act as a mentor for students. The third expectation is to love the work we do, that is to say, we must love the work we choose, do our work in high quality, high standards, and high efficiency, strive to be a model of devoted teacher.
