On September 28th, the Social Science Planning Office of Chongqing municipality released the approved list of Social Science Panning Projects of Chongqing in 2020. Our school made a new breakthrough in project category and project number, with a coverage of project topic from economic management disciplines of our school.
“Research on Establishing an Organic Linkage Mechanism between Poverty Alleviation and Rural Area Revitalization”, a project led by XIE Lingbin from the School of Finance of our school, was approved as a key project of the Special Theory Project, achieving a breakthrough in this kind of project. Besides, two projects were approved as the annual general project, including “Study on Emergency Logistics Risk Prevention and Control Mechanism in Major Emergencies”, led by ZHANG Jianfang, associate professor at the School of Logistics Engineering, and “Study on Coordinated Financial Innovation Boosting Ecological Transformation of Agriculture in Chongqing”, led by Professor YANG Guoqing from the School of Wealth Management. In addition, three projects were approved as the annual youth project, including “Study on Ecological Transformation Mechanism and Realization Route Boosted by Green Financial Innovation in Chongqing”, led by ZHAO Chaoxia, associate professor at the School of Finance, and “Study on the Ecological Environment Risk Map and De-risking Path of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle”, led by AIJunyong, full-time teacher from the School of Artificial Intelligence, and “Study on theFull-scale Chongqing Industrial Ecology Level Measurement and Improvement Strategy”, led by YOU yun, full-time teacher from the School of Economics. The number of the annual projects approved this year has set a new record high.
Our school has always been attaching great importance to the application and management of various scientific research projects, encouraging the vast number of teaching and research personnel to actively participate in the application of various scientific research projects. In recent years, the teaching and research staff has shown higher enthusiasm for doing research. Significant breakthroughs have been made in the number of Chongqing Social Science Planning Projects applied and approved in 2020. In the years to come, our school will boost the innovation of scientific research project management system, highlight the outcome-oriented guidance of project research, and promote the utilization efficiency of scientific research resources.
