Autumn in September, when the breeze blow gently, is the time to welcome the freshers. From September 26th to 27th, more than 3,000 students from across China came to Rongzhi College, embarking on a new journey filled with dreams and expectations of reaching a new height.
The school leaders attached great importance to the work of welcoming the class of 2020, and have hold several thematic coordination meetings to formulate a detailed work plan for welcoming the freshers, requiring all schools and secondary departments to be student-centered, well-organized and well-arranged, so as to complete the task of welcoming the class of 2020 with high quality.
According to the unified arrangement and deployment of the school, the orientation work is in full swing, with busy teachers and student volunteers everywhere on campus. They patiently answer freshmen’s questions, offering to help them carry their bags...Warm smiling faces, kind greetings and considerate services are there to warmly welcome the freshers from all over China. CHEN Longguo, deputy secretary of the Communist Party Committee of our school, said in an interview that “Due to the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work, parents are not allowed to enter the campus, therefore volunteers are the ones to count on to offer enthusiastic help and support for the freshers.” At the same time, Secretary Chen expects a lot from these freshers, hoping that they can spend an extraordinary four years here in Rongzhi College, and achieve high performance in all aspects, laying a good foundation for future social service.
During these two days, school leaders visited each orientation work site, giving their care and greetings to all the Rongzhi community members. In addition, they inquired in detail about the registration work progress and the difficultiesencountered in their work, and gave a full appreciation of the orderly orientation work organized by each department and school, and encouraged them to further pay attention to the details, to offer people-oriented and sincere service, and to do a good job in all aspects of the work of welcoming newcomers.
At this point, the students of class 2020 set sails here in Rongzhi College. The new environment may make them feel strange and uneasy, but they will soon adapt to the new life here and like it later. With dreams in their hearts, the help from their alumni, and the care from the faculty and school leaders, they will soon flourish here in Rongzhi College!
