With the belief that “Inspiration lights up life, entrepreneurship changes fate”, the theme lecture “College Students Start Their Own Businesses, More Choices Would be Available” was successfully held on October 15, 2020, in an attempt to improve students’ enthusiasm and ability to start their own businesses, pluck up their courage to explore the way of business-startup, and find the right direction of business-startup. This lecture was given by the keynote speaker, professor MAO Gengfu, a training lecturer of China Entrepreneurship Project.
In the lecture, Professor Mao started the topic around the employment situation faced by today’s college students, taught students “Why to start a business”, “How to start a business” and “How to better start a business”, and guided students to actively think about entrepreneurship and diverge their thinking with the analysis of case data. In the end, Professor Mao advised students to try various entrepreneurial approaches and examine the problems from multiple perspectives. The students listened carefully to Professor Mao’s explanation, and gained a lot of entrepreneurial inspiration from his entrepreneurial knowledge and cases, and left with more thoughts in mind.
Entrepreneurship is the general trend of today’s social development. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center has been paying close attention to the issue of college students’ self-employment, actively encouraging college students to start up their own businesses, and making efforts to provide a better entrepreneurial environment for college students. The hope is that more and more students of Rongzhi College will embark on the road of entrepreneurship, have the courage to innovate and start their own businesses, and make unremitting efforts tor ealize their dream of entrepreneurship and shine brilliantly in the field of entrepreneurship.
