In order to conform to the new development pattern of higher education, implement the national spirit of effectively deepening the integration of industry and education, build an application-oriented University of Finance and Economics, and cultivate high-quality talents to adapt to the development of the times, the School of Accounting of Rongzhi College held the first “Deloitte Class” opening ceremony in the academic lecture hall on the afternoon of October 13. Participants at the ceremony are Mr GE Ming, partner of Deloitte Global Delivery Center, professor SHENG Min, vice president of Rongzhi college, ZHOU Xiong, director of the Office of Academic Affairs of Rongzhi College, ZHANG Xinrong, discipline leader of the School of Accounting of Rongzhi College, associate professor XIE Fujie, dean of the School of Accounting, YAO Zhuanhua, secretary of CPC General Branch of the School of Accounting of Rongzhi College, as well as all the students of the School of Accounting of Rongzhi College.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Vice President of our school, Professor SHEN Min delivered a speech for the opening ceremony of the class. He said that, under the new development form of higher education, the combination of industry and education has become an important way to reform higher education and cultivate high-quality talents, so classes based on the integration of industry and education is an effective way to implement the national spirit of deepening the integration of industry and education. This requires us to further change our ideas, to gather the consensus on the reform of the integration of industry and education, and to move from integration to interconnection, and from interconnection to integration. The establishment of “Deloitte Class” marks another breakthrough in the integration of industry and education in our school. Then, he raised his sincere expectations for the students, hoping that the students could guard against arrogance and rashness in their future study and life and improve their ability in every aspect, by catching the new opportunities at the new era and meeting the challenge to strive to create a better future for themselves, for Rongzhi community, and for our country.
Mr.GE Ming, partner of Deloitte Global Delivery Center, said, “I had a preliminary online communication with the students of Rongzhi College, witnessed their talents and abilities. Thus I know them better and hope to make progress together with them.” Then, ZHAO Yanchi, the student representative, mentioned in his speech that this is a new opportunity accompanied by new challenges since they have more opportunities to show themselves and improve themselves, so they should get ready to face everything, to meet the beauty on the road ahead, and to feel the struggle of youth.
At the opening ceremony of the first “Deloitte Class” of our school, the students had an in-depth understanding of the significance of the construction of “Deloitte Class”, and made a more detailed plan for their future development.
