To build an innovative atmosphere and create an entrepreneurial arena, the inaugural meeting and the first plenary meeting of the Maker Assistant Group of Rongzhi College of Chongqing Technology and Business University was successfully held on October 16, 2020. Present at the conference were ZENG Zhen, dean of The School of Continuing Education of Rongzhi College, MO Zixiao, deputy director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center for College Students, and all the members of the Maker Assistant Community.
At the meeting, Dean Zeng first welcomed all the members to join the community and then demonstrated our excellent performance in the entrepreneurship and innovation competition as well as our achievements in innovation, entrepreneurship and industry-education integration, which proved the rapid development of our school’s entrepreneurship and innovation work and our determination to vigorously develop it well. Zeng also hopes that the members can work together to lay a solid professional foundation, to work hard, and to make suggestions for the mass entrepreneurship and innovation work. Later, Director Mo introduced the positioning, structure and future development road of the Maker Assistant Group, making everyone has a deeper understanding of the maker Assistant Group and a clearer objective and direction of the work in the future. She also boosted the members’ sense of responsibility and confidence. Finally, the members of the presidium and the ministers of each department respectively expounded the work of each department, described the prospect of the future work, and other members also expressed their work enthusiasm and development expectations in their self-introduction.
The success of this conference has laid a solid foundation for the future development of the Maker Assistant Group. The establishment of the Maker Assistant Group will help students build an awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation in a more efficient way, and improve their entrepreneurship skills and practical skills, injecting new energy and impetus into the work of boosting entrepreneurship and innovation of our school. Hope is that, in the future, all members of this community can fully show their abilities, help each other, and make progress together to meet the challenges of the future with a more positive attitude and work ethic.
