On November 7,2020, the final of the third Rongshi International Cup Financial Investment Analysis Competition was held online in form of online video. On the basis of the preliminary competition of their respective campuses, the member universities of Rongshi International CFA Education College Union all sent outstanding teams to participate in this final.
The team from the School of Finance of our school were unanimously appreciated by the three judges for their excellent speech, exquisite PPT making, perfect cooperation between teammates, and clear expression of problem-solving mode. This team consists of 5 students from the CFA class of 2018, with a CFA holder, HONG Yuanyuan who is a a full-timeteacher of the School of Finance of our school serving as their instructor.They took Greenland Holding Company as a case study, making a comprehensive investment analysis of the enterprise in terms of its business layout, future development route, financial data analysis and industry comparison. The good news is that this team won the second place and the best display team, WANG Yanqi an individual honor.
This is the third year for Rongshi International Cup Financial Investment Analysis Competition. Also, it’s the third year for the school of Finance to form a team to participate in the competition, in an continuous effort to build a platform for students to combine theory with practice, stimulates students’ interest in financial investment analysis and their ability to analyze financial data. It is a practice for cultivating the students of the class of CFA characteristic project of our school into innovative composite talents.
