In order to do well in the related work of National Social Science Fund Projects, our school held the opening report of 2020 National Social Science Fund Project and the application kick-off meeting of 2021 National Social Science Fund Project on October 30.
The project proposal report was presided over by professor WANG Chongju from Chongqing Technology and Business University. Present at the meeting are TANG Wanghu, director of Chongqing Municipal Federation of Social Sciences Planning Award Office, professor WEN Chuanhao, president of Chongqing Regional Economic Association, YANG Xinning, deputy director of Comprehensive Office of Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, researcher PENG Guochuan, deputy director of Chongqing Academy of Social Science, ZHANG Yong, a professor at Sichuan International Studies University, CHEN Kaihui, an investigator from Chongqing Association of Social Science Planning Awards Office, and they offered a guidance on the project proposal of the 2020 National Social Science Fund Project. Professor WU Hua’an, president of our University, associate professor FANG Chaojun, assistant to the President of our school, the director of the ongoing project of the National Social Science Fund Project of our school, principals of some second-level colleges of our school and young teaching and researching personnel attended the meeting chaired by professor ZHANG Li, Director of the Scientific Research Department of our school.
At the meeting, president WU Hua’an, gave a warm speech and introduced to the leaders and experts our school’s scientific research development, platform establishment and team-building, and nuture of project application. CHEN Kaihui, an investigator from Chongqing Association of Social Science Planning Awards Office, read out the notice on project approval. Associate professor HE Gaoxiang at the School of Accounting of our college, made a detailed report on the research content and method, preparation and outline, research goal and thought, key points and difficulties, research progress and budget of his “Research on the Industrial Heritage Auditing and Ecological Utilization Path of The Third-Front Movement”, a general project of the 2020 National Social Science Fund Project, so did CHEN Ying, an instructor at the School of Accounting of our college on her western project “Research on the Performance Tracking Evaluation and Optimization Strategy of the Green Development of the Reservoir Area at the Post Three Gorges Era”. After listening to their reports, the participating experts made in-depth inquiries and guidance on their research work one after one. The expert group approved that each project team should start their research work according to their original plan since their early preparation work and scheme is sufficient and feasible.Then they put forward a series of suggestions on improving the quality of their project research and completing the core objectives of their project.
After listening to thesis proposal of the project teams, TANG Wanghu, director of Chongqing Municipal Federation of Social Science Planning Award Office, made suggestions on the research work of the National Social Science Fund Project, suggesting that project research should aim at accurately focusing on key issues while highlighting limited goals, deepening the sorting of academic history while consolidating the oretical foundation, doing in-depth investigation and research while mastering first-hand data, using appropriate methods to ensure scientific research, placing importance on academic standards to ensure the quality of research results, strengthening teamwork while giving play to the advantages of different disciplines, adhering to a good learning atmosphere while avoiding undesirable academic phenomena. In addition, he stressed the importance of conducting preliminary review.
At the end of the meeting, associate professor FANG Chaojun, assistant to the President of our school, made an analysis on her experience of how to consolidate the application foundation, echelon construction, topic incubation of high-level projects including National Social Science Fund Project. She also reported on the specific work deployment and incentive measures of our school for the application of National Social science Fund in 2021.
This meeting is not only an important milestone of the smooth implementation of Rongzhi College’s National Social Science Fund Project in 2020, but also a prelude to the application of Rongzhi College’s National Social Science Fund project in2021.
