On the noon of November 12, 2020, the fifth international education lecture of this semester was successfully held in the classroom of 1322. The lecture was open to all English teachers, full-time and part-time mentors from International Business School of our school and New Media Art School of our school. Present at the lecture are XIAO Su, vice President of our school, LIU Li, dean of the International Business School, CHEN Ping, deputy Secretary of the GeneralBranch of the Party of International Business School of our school, and GAN Xuemei, deputy secretary of the General Branch of the Party of the New Media Art School of our school. So far, the international education lecture series of this semester for the mentors, English teachers and students in our school has come to a perfect end.
The lecture was presided by the director of International Cooperation and Exchange Departmentof our school, SHI Zhuanzhuan. She first gave a brief introduction to the internationalization development situation and achievement of our school, introduced in detail the ongoing long-term and short-term international projects, and made a brief description of the international projects suitable for the International Business School of our school and the New Media Art School of our school. Then she put forward some suggestions on English curriculum reform and internationalization course construction. XIAO Su, the vice President of our school, has great hopes for the internationalization of English teachers in our school. She pointed out that the internationalization of the students in our school is always based on their language ability, and English teachers play a decisive role in improving students’ language ability, enhancing their international awareness and expanding their international vision. She expected that English teachers in our school can continuously improve their educational background and teaching skills, so as to help improve students’ international competency and internationalization development of our school while realizing their own value.
The successful holding of this semester’s international education lecture series aims to enhance the international awareness of our teachers and students, and provide guidance and suggestions for their international development planning on the basis of popularizing the existing international resources of our school.
