In an effort to further strengthen the interaction with enterprises, open up the employment market and boost the employment vitality, Gan Xuemei, deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of New Media Art of our school, led Zhu Mingming, deputy director of the Student League Office, and Tang Lujia, secretary of the Student Party Branch, to visit the Chongqing Branch of Ape Tutoring(an after-school training institution) on the afternoon of April 8th.
The group of Gan Xuemei were warmly received by the director of the company who first showed them around the company as he introduces the company’s general information and cultural concept of modern management. Then he introduced in detail their coaching positioning, objectives and management system, graduates’ development direction and promotion path at their company.
The two sides had an in-depth exchange and discussion on graduates recruitment, business cooperation, student internship and other related aspects, reaching a consensus on relevant cooperation projects.
Then Ms Gan and her group visited two interns in the company, graduates of the class of 2017 of our school who majored in network and new media. The two students shared their working status and adaptability. They said that the company provided them with standardized business training, communication and learning platform and humanized services, and that laid a foundation for their adapting to the society and rapid personal growth. After listening to the students’ feelings, Ms Gan encouraged them to carry forward the innovative and pioneering spirit of the young people in the new era, and cherish the opportunity to learn and grow with a down-to-ground attitude, establishing a good image and an elegant demeanor of the students of Chongqing Finance and Economics College.
To promote employment is a livelihood project, and the focus of the School of New Media Art of our school, whose sustainable development is to be based on expanding channels, gaining wide access to resources, guiding students to change their concept of employment, and helping students obtain employment. It is hoped that a broader platform for students’ ability improvement and employment practice would be provided by communicating with more related enterprises and finding more meeting points.
