In order to broaden students’ international horizon, improve their English competence, scientific research ability and academic paper writing ability, our school and the University of Raman Malaysia plan to jointly hold the “International Training Program for Boosting Students’ Scientific Research Ability”. The specific arrangements are as follows:
1. Project introduction
Our students participate in the international training program for improving students’ Scientific research ability, receive professional guidance from teachers of Raman University in Malaysia, improving their English proficiency and their skills in doing scientific research and writing research reports or academic papers.

1. Class Location: online 2. The student’s topic selection must be approved by their school. 3. Writing Language: Chinese (in the format of the undergraduate thesis of our university) or English (in the format of the undergraduate thesis of Raman University). 4. The graduation thesis written by the student shall be reviewed by their school and the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of our school. 5. Students shall participate in the graduation thesis defense organized by our school. 6. A certificate of participation in the project and a recommendation letter from their tutors. 7. 2. Project Advantages
1) Comprehensive Quality Improvement: comprehensively improvement of students’ international vision, language proficiency and interculturalcommunication ability.
2) Improvement in Scientific Research Ability: Students will be familiar with the writing paradigm of academic paper
in advance and have a deeper understanding of their major, which can improve their graduation thesis writing level.

study backgrounds, students can adapt to foreign teaching methods in advance. Also, Project participation experienc

3. Project Process
1) Student Registration: Students should voluntarily register at the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of our school and then submitthe application form.
2) Project Selection: The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of our school organizes an interview, with
specific indicators as follows: political literacy, comprehensive quality, English proficiency, scientific research potenti
al, etc.
3) Class Opening Ceremony and Training: The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of our school hold
s the class opening ceremony and offers related training (2periods) for the candidates who pass the interview.
4) Project Topic Selection: ①The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of our school organizes internati
onal mentors to give research topics. Students can choose topics related to their major or that they are interested in, ac
cept professional guidance from international mentors, and write research reports or papers;② Students can also prop
ose their own research topics under the guidance of professional teachers in our school, and write papers under the gui
dance of international tutors after they have been recognized by the international tutors.
Note: All topics shall obtain a dual approval from their departments and international tutors before its implementation.
5) Specific Execution of the Project: the execution time shall be subject to the specific arrangement of the International Cooperation andExchange Office of our school
6) Thesis Defense: in accordance with the arrangement of our school (only for the students of class II).
4. Deadline for Registration and Implementation of the First Phaseof the Project
1) Deadline for Registration: 17:00 on November 15, 2020.
2) Time of Class Opening Ceremony: November 30, 2020 (thespecific starting time and project duration of each project shall be determined after the international tutor and students have a discussion about it)
5. Project Fees
1) The Cost of the Project: class I: 1550 RMB; class II: 3100 RMB.
2) Registration Fee: 300 RMB.
