On the afternoon of October 14th, Mr. ZHANG Shuai, official representative of Raman University, visited our school and talked about cooperation. XIAO Su, vice president of Rongzhi College, SHI Zhuanzhuan, director of International Cooperation and Exchange Department of our school, ZHANG Li, director of Scientific Research Department of our school, and TANG Lili, associate dean of the School of iFlytek Artificial Intelligence of our shool, received the visiting guests in the conference room 2303 of the Administration Building, where the two sides held a friendly talk.
At the meeting, vice president XIAO Su extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests and expressed her gratitude to Mr. ZHANG Shuai for his efforts in promoting the cooperation between the two schools. Then, the two sides had a heated discussion on the doctoral program for teachers, the international cooperative joint laboratory program, the “3+2” postgraduate continuous study program for students (3 years of undergraduate education in Rongzhi College and 2 years of graduate education in foreign countries), and the program of Scientific Research Alliance of Universities across the world, etc. A consensus on cooperation has been reached at the end of the meeting.
Raman University is Malaysia’s “five-star Young University”, ranking 99th in the 2019 Times Higher Education Asian University Rankings. In 2020, our school has established a friendly cooperative relationship with Raman University and achieved good results in terms of student exchange study. Raman University is internationally recognized for its academic achievements and currently offers courses recognized by more than 20 domestic and international professional organizations. In the future, our school will cooperate with Raman University to develop more high-quality international projects, striving for better and faster development of the two schools.
