On the evening of December 14, 2020, the sharing activity of “Study in Germany - How to Get into the World’s Top Universities Without Paying Tuition” was successfully held in classroom 1601. This brings the “International Culture and Education SharingWorkshop” series of the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year to a full end.

The International Cultural and Education Sharing Workshop was established in September 2020. This workshop, based on the concept of “Internationalization at Home” put forward by Bent Nelson (Sweden), has been working on the internationalization of our formal and informal curriculum construction, advocating “universal” international education for all students, in an attempt to make more students benefit from the internationalization of higher education institution and to raise their international quality to calmly cope with challenges in globalization. Since its establishment, the workshop has been committed to inviting representatives of famous overseas universities, well-known scholars and experts, and outstanding alumni to share with our teachers and students their efficient methods of foreign language learning, advanced international education philosophy and characteristic international education mode.

In this semester, this workshop has held a total of 10 activities, including language test training for IELTS and TOEFL, international culture and education (the economy, culture, and international education mode of Germany, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Singapore, Britain, Australia, the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, China, and Macao, China), with the participation of 2000 people.

The concept of “Internationalization at Home” provides a new way of thinking for the internationalization development of higher education in the post-pandemic era. The series of activities carried by the “International Culture and Education Sharing Workshop” are beneficial attempts to promote the education internationalization of our school. In the future, our school will continue to introduce high-quality international education resources, and to include more teachers and students in it. In addition to the effort to create an international campus environment, our school has been working on expanding the international vision of all the teachers and students, in an effort to enhance their international competitiveness and that of our school.
