On December 19, the “2020 Forster Cup” National Audit Elite Challenge for College Students officially concluded, and the national third prize went to the participating groups from colleges including our school. The winning group of our school was formed by 3 students (RAN Jing, XIANG Ying, and ZHAO Yanchi) from the Audit Class of 2017, and they were led by 2 full-time teachers (CHENG Shi and GUO Taomin) from the Audit Teaching and Research Office of the School of Accounting of our school.
The “2020 Forster Cup” National Audit Elite Challenge for College Students is a large-scale national professional competition sponsored by The Audit Education Branch of China Audit Institute and undertaken by the School of Government Audit of Nanjing Audit University. This competition was conducted in an online mode, and the content of the competition was divided into two parts: audit professional quality and case analysis, among which audit professional quality includes the theoretical knowledge of CPA audit, government audit and internal audit. There are a total of 240 universities participated in the undergraduate division of this competition, including Nanjing Audit University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Chongqing Technology and Business University, Southwest University of Finance and Economics, and Northeast University of Finance and Economics, with nearly 720 undergraduates participating in it.
With the goal of learning from excellent financial and economic universities and improving their own professional quality and professional practice ability, the team of our school made a great effort to achieve high performance, showing their solid professional knowledge and skills in case analysis. This surely enhanced our school’s popularity and influence. Through this competition, more students majoring in auditing would be inspired to actively participate in the discipline competition, and that will promote the cultivation of application-oriented talents with the knowledge of auditing through learning, practicing and adapting knowledge promoted by competition.
