From August 9 to10, 2021, the final of the 7th China International “Internet +” CollegeStudents’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Chongqing was held. The competition was sponsored by Chongqing Education Commission and jointly organized by Chongqing University and the People’s Government of Bishan District, Chongqing. The entrepreneurship and innovation project team of our school won 5 silver award and 3 bronze award in this competition, and the number of silver and bronze award exceeded the results of previous competitions. It is worth mentioning that the project of our school “Law Steward” entered the Gold Medal competition, which was also a historic breakthrough of our school in the promotion competition.
With the theme of “I dare to break through, I can create” and the goal of “More Chinese Characteristic, More International, More Educational, More Comprehensive, More Innovative”, the competition aims to promote learning, education and innovation, to further stimulate the enthusiasm of innovation and entrepreneurship in colleges and universities, and to actively integrate into the global wave of innovation and entrepreneurship. Since the notice on the competition, our school has attached great importance to it, teachers and students worked together to outperform in the competition, actively improving incentive methods, updating concepts, innovating competing modes, and carring out the school-level selection for the competition. Under the thorough organization of the School of Entrepreneurship of our school and with the full encouragement of all staff, a total of 323 project teams with more than 1500 students registered for the competition, 8 of them were selected to participate the final, after their good performance at several rounds of road shows. They won 5 Silver award with the projects: “Law Steward - a one-stop campus legal service supply platform based on SAAS “, “An’ Suyun - Campus Hidden Trouble Management Intelligent Collaboration Platform”, “Tian Peng Animal Husbandry”, “Cloud Tax -Intelligent Cloud Integrated Practical Training and Employment Matching System”, and “Cloud Enterprise Law”; and 3 Bronze award with the projects: “Qi Xing Culture”, “Answer Fun - Location-based Real-time Social Interaction Software” and “AI Makeup Artist”.

As an important platform for promoting mass entrepreneurship and innovation, the “Internet +”College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition showcases the innovation power of young students. Next, the School of Entrepreneurship of our school will continue to promote teaching through competition, more actively innovate education idea and pattern, enrich the culture and atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship, promote the education of innovation and entrepreneurship at our school’s personnel training process, with the aim of comprehensively developing our students’ innovative spirit, pioneering consciousness and innovation ability.
